Mukiti means "Celebration" in my language, Lozi. It is a good name for me because when I was born it happened that the ancient Kuomboka ceremony was taking place and everyone was celebrating. This is the most important ceremony of the year, when our King, the Litunga, dresses in his ceremonial robes and moves from his summer residence in a huge boat with 100 oarsmen, to his winter home.
