My name Milumbe, means "Message" in Lozi. My parents had hoped for a child for many years but they waited a long time. One day my mother was in her garden picking okra and a blue roller bird flew into a tree nearby. He sang beautifully and told her that he was bringing her a message from her great grandmother. Within the year she would bear a lovely baby girl, and she should be named "Milumbe". And it happened just that way!
